There will be a meeting in the clubrooms this Saturday night at 6pm for all senior players. This meeting has been called to discuss arrangements for pre-season training and the season ahead for the senior hurling and football teams. All players and indeed, anyone interested in playing, are urged to please attend this meeting as the football manager, Charlie Nugent, and the hurling manager, Gerard Turley, outline their plans for the year ahead.

Following on from recent discussions between the executive committee and some parents the decision has been made to form a Parents Committee. After initially expressing interest at the Christmas Party, an inaugural meeting was held today in the Grosvenor Leisure Centre with all those present showing a desire to get involved. This committee will be given the fullest support of all Sean MacDiarmada officers and members. We would like to thank them for getting involved and hopefully more parents will follow suit and help us in our quest to continue rebuilding the club in the forthcoming years.

Sean MacDiarmada juvenile football training recommenced today at Grosvenor Leisure Centre. There was a good turnout of kids at all levels today as training started up again after the Christmas break. We would like to remind all parents and juveniles to please complete the registration forms handed out today and return them to their respective coaches next week please.
These forms were handed out in anticipation of our 2012 Registration Day at Grosvenor Leisure Centre on Sunday 4th March.
We would also like to take this opportunity to encourage all those who have previously registered and ‘drifted away’ to come along again and get involved in our National Games. All new members are also extremely welcome.
